SCORSESE'S WCF ADDS B-SIDE, THE AUTEURS & KENT JONES

In a release sent out today at Cannes, World Cinema Foundation's founder and chairman Martin Scorsese announced that the organization, dedicated to the preservation and restoration of neglected films from around the world, has formed separate partnerships with B-Side Entertainment and virtual cinematheque The Auteurs to market, promote and distribute a slate of restored WCF titles (Criterion will also be involved). Former New York Film Society associate director of programming, Kent Jones, has come on as the WCF's new executive director.

Estes Park Film Festival - Late Deadline June 1st!

The Estes Park Film Festival is looking for the best independent Feature Films, Documentaries, and Short Films for their fourth annual event in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado. Submit before the Late Deadline (June 1st)! Last year’s festival was an amazing success, and had many special guests in attendance including the Colorado Film Commissioner and representatives from Universal Pictures.



MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The Estes Park Film Festival is dedicated to providing a platform for filmmakers from around the world to screen their newest productions in the relaxing and creative atmosphere of Estes Park, Colorado. Our goal is to educate, inspire, and advance a greater appreciation of independent cinema. We also support the preservation of historic cinematic landmarks.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Founded in 2005, the annual Estes Park Film Festival takes place each September in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado, home of Rocky Mountain National Park! Each year filmmakers from around the world travel to Estes Park to showcase their newest films at the beautiful Historic Park Theatre. Built in 1913, the Historic Park Theatre is one of the oldest movie theatres still operating in America, and in 1984 was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
